Signs from Spirit teach us to trust

Looky what I found today! This shiny, 1998 dime appeared out of nowhere. Have you ever had a sign from a loved surprise you like mine did?
I decided to clean my office today. I had just finished vacuuming and putting the furniture back in place. My next chore was to clean my table. As I worked my way from one side to the next, finishing the last swipe with my cloth, something caught my eye. I literally leaped back as I spotted this special surprise hello from my dad.
Since I can see, hear and sense Spirit, I wasn’t that surprised to hear my dad say, “Well, hello there, Ya-ho-nie!” (that's what my dad called me). Interestingly enough, THAT didn’t startle me. What startled me was the shiny little dime that appeared out of nowhere, on the carpet I just finished vacuuming. I literally JUST finished vacuuming this spot and put the table and chair back in its place. No dime 8 seconds ago. But boom! There was a dime there now.
I’m sure you’ve had instances like this, right? I’m guessing you’ve gotten coins from loved ones before, but I bet you did a great job of trying to ‘explain it away.’ Why do we do that? Why not trust that it really IS a hello from our loved one(s)?
Truth be told, sometimes my mind goes there, too. Sometimes my ego will jump in and argue with my intuition. Ego will try to explain why/how this dime got there, pulling in all of the ‘logical’ reasons. (Learn more about your intuition and ego mind in my Level 1 course) But I know better. I have worked with Spirit for years. I've learned how to communicate with them and how to know when it’s Spirit, when it’s my intuition, and when it’s my ego talking. I KNEW this sign was from my dad. There was no mistaking the sign he sent and there was no mistaking his voice!
After my initial and pleasant surprise at this dime appearing out of nowhere, I began to laugh out loud and started up a conversation with my dad. He proceeded to tell me how he loved my new ideas. He wanted to encourage me to move forward with these new ideas. He wanted me to share these new opportunities with my clients. He knows these new services/offerings (that I have for you) are needed and that they will help many, many people. He also knows how excited I get with my new ideas and how sometimes my mind spins out of control until I bump up against fear, and then I freeze. When I do this, he comes in to support me through the overthinking, the ‘what ifs’, and the fear of the unknown that my ego likes to toss at me from time to time. When I bump up against my ego, he reminds me to take a break, take a breath, step back and reconnect to my intuition and my spiritual team. He reminds with a look (a look he gives me as if to say, you know better than to let ego talk you down) that I need to trust my intuition. I need to trust my Spiritual team because it’ll all work out. When something is meant to be, when something this big is available to help so many, it must be shared. I am meant to use my gifts for others; I know this, and he reminds me often. He says, “Follow that gut feeling, follow the joy and fun. Follow what lights you up. Nothing is a coincidence. It's all for a reason.”
I’m so blessed to be able to talk with him and receive his supportive messages. It's wonderful to hear and feel his excitement as I move forward with courage and uncertainties. It's fantastic to STILL have his support from the other side. I am comforted by knowing that I can always talk to him and ask him for help when I need it. You can too. Do you know how? The really cool part about receiving messages from Spirit, including our loved ones, is that we can receive them when we least expect it, yet, when we need them the most.
